Default ARES G36 Gear Box in JG G36?

Heard a rumor that the Ares gearbox can be put into a JG G36.
I haven't had a chance to even look at the Ares gearbox, but just outta curiosity is this true?

The Ares is electric blowback, but apparently the gearbox still "blows back" but because the JG G36 doesn't have the necessary parts for the blowback system to blow back it won't move anything. The gearbox just goes through it's motions.
How true is this?

I half don't believe it.

I'm wondering this also, so I'm bumping this thread up. I mainly want the ARES G36 gear box in my JG G36 as it has the quick change spring guide feature.

@Buster: I changed your topic title to something a bit more descriptive.

There is a shuttle built into the top of the GB operated by the piston. It may be possible for the shuttle to engage the cocking lever on the JG.The only thing you would need is to place a flange on the bottom of the cocking lever so the shuttle has something to grab onto im thinking.

i thought you can disable the ares blowback by removing a part on the gearbox

This is true.Theres a block that holds the shuttle onto the top of the GB.Remove its screw, and the shuttle slides off.I was under the impression he wanted to make a JG into an ebb rifle.
