Default Motor Problem

I just recieved my Systema energy motor and gearbox. I installed everything but the motor isnt working. I know the motor works but when I put it in the grip it doesn't do anything. The motor doesnt make any sounds. What could be the problem??
Thanks,
GolfisGood

Does systema run the v.2 gearbox system? If so it uses an adjustment screw in the bottom of the pistol grip to line up the gearbox and the motor, in which case you'd need to tighten that adjustment screw

I am pretty sure that the wires are connected because they stay on pretty tight. I also forgot to mention that it is a v2 gearbox. I would tighten or loosen the adjustment screw but still nothing would happen.

do you at least hear a click? Like the motor is trying to pull but can't? If mmotor height is adjusted (to your best guess.. without actually cycling the GB it's difficult to get the perfect height) and you hear a click then it could be a reversed connection. I've come across a few motors where the red and black were opposite. Or a bad shim job. Gears are so tight that motor can't turn them.

Have you tried it to a macro scale? Like tightening it a WHOLE TON or loosening likewise? I had similar issues with a JG MP5 a while back

Make sure the red wire is connected to the positive (+) connector. Also make sure the motor can move within the grip and isn't stuck/jammed in.
