Yeah, he won't tell what they are actually made of. Seems to be a similar material as a rubber hose.
BTW, ehobby order almost came in. BUT I went out and missed it by 5 minutes >,<
so hopefully I will get the gears and bushings tomorrow.

Played around a bit with the r-hop today in an old stock barrel. I got the patch cut really well and filed down to my liking.
I was able to push BBs through without too much force. Looking good so far, but I have yet to actually test it. I may try it in an old M4 I have lying around.
Stay frosty.

New gears and bushings are in. I REALLY like the gears. Look much better than the XYTs, which I also bought with it to fix a friend's gun.
So now I just waiting on the hobbyking order (I used the speedy shipping, so it should be here any time) and the evike order with the actual RPK.
Stay frisky...

G36FANATIC-If walmart sold AE BBs, everyone would stop buying them. Its sad, people see its from Walmart and judge it before they even know what it is.

I decided on the supershooter 18:1s.
They look really nice. I just need to remember to glue the two halves of the sector together, those bolts are puny. I think that I am going to use and extremely thin layer of JB weld. That stuff is awesome.
I hope that my HK order comes soon... did you choose the EMS shipping, or standard?

Make sure to glue the spur together too, it came apart on my 16:1's right away.

Will do. I really like the bearings on them, how the axle of the gear isn't actually connected to the gear. Hopefully that will boost the ol ROF a bit.
AND TACKKETT, you have never used JB weld?
It is basically a 24 hour 2-part expoxy. Called a "cold weld" because this stuff bonds like metal. REALLY solid.
I find all sorts of uses. It really shines in metal-to-metal applications.

Sweet. If I ever get my old SSers retapped and threaded I will use that. Been lookin at it from google. Dunno how I missed this stuff....
There was a lot of thought put into those gears it seems. Good to see something that's just not another rebrand. The bearing tappet delayer is nice too.
This stuff?
I bet I don't even need to have it retapped with this stuff.
