Default Semi-Steel TM 1911 Build

Just got my package of parts needed to convert my TM 1911a1 to full metal. This should be interesting. I will update when needed.

So gun took about 2 hours to fully convert. I quite possibly could of gotten it done sooner without distractions. It works well, and the parts fit together without much modification despite some required items. Right now the slide will gut stuck once in a while; while racking it. I am unsure of what it might actually be, maybe someone has a clue? I will post pics when i get some time.

That just sounds like you need to break the slide in a bit. Keep racking the slide, you'll eventually find that sort itself out. Even the higher quality metal kits do require a bit of fitting. Nothing unusual there. Where's you order the pats from, might I ask?

I thought it was that. But come to find out, I didnt tighten down the slide block screw enough. So it was jamming up at certain times. I got everything from www.rainbow8.com . They had nearly everything I wanted for the conversion.
