DefaultTanio-koba twisted inner barrels

I'm thinking about buying a tanio-koba 509mm inner barrel for my L86. Is it worth the 75$ it cost and is it worth sacrificing the stock 550mm barrel?

TK Twist barrels only work on Sub-350 FPS guns and will not work with hop-up.

I wouldn't do it. For the $75, I'd get an EdGI 6.01mm.

Looking for an ACM 6mm gas shotgun in black (yes, BLACK) in the US.
Broken or not. PM me if you have or know of one for sale.

Thanks

Eh, thought that would would be the case. They seem to be on to something with the "rifled" design though. Thanks Sparky.

DefaultTK Twist barrels

I have owned a tk twist for 2 years . I put it on my JG G3. THey work very well. In my gun it tightened the groups up at 100 feet by at least half. WHile it is true they work best at 1 joule (approx.330 fps) they still work to varying degrees above that. I shoot mine at about 370 and it works very well. They indeed do work with hop up . THey are not a "rifled" barrel. They cause a vortex of air that flows around the bb making it essentially more stable in flight. They do not spin the BB. When fired a higher velocities (>330fps) they tend to throw in a flyer every twenty rounds or so. I felt mine was well worth the money and I would not trade it for any other barrel. And yes I have another gun with a DBC 6.01 barrel and prefer the Tk over it. Just my opinion take it for what it is worth.
