I'd have to agree, and not just because we sell them. They have a "bang" nearly as loud as an M-80 going off, plus the side benefit of throwing the 30-50 dried peas that reside inside them. they are about the size of a tennis ball, so they are easy to throw very accurately, they light perfectly with only a light strike and have a 7-second delay. they are totally biodegradable too. they add so much cool effect to the game when a bunch of people use them. ever since we started carrying them, hardly a skirm goes by without 20-30 of them being used and really adds to the realism and flavor of the game.

Let me add some more positive points to them. They are light so with a gently toss if you were to accidentally hit someone with it (never intentionally throw it directly at someone) it would be pretty harmless. They are pretty sturdy and hold up VERY well in the standard frag pouches. I know people who put a strip of velcro on them and stick them to their gear and carry them that way. The other beauty about this is that it is disposable. With multi use grenades I find myself hesitant as to where I use them. Will i get them back? I typically reserve them for room clearing as I follow the grenade into the room immediately after it goes off. If I die, or clear the room I can still pick it up. With these things you have no reserve as to where you throw them.

You make excellent points, Brazzy. In our experience, the AI Tornado is by far the best reusable grenade yet devised, but you always hesitate before using one because possibly losing a $100 grenade really sucks. plus, the Tornado has considerable weight to it, so one has to take care not to smack somebody else in the head with it.

despite the fact that the TLSFx grenades are single-use, their low cost and light weight make them perfect for virtually all situations. and, the sound effects surely enhance a scenario nicely.

you think a grenade concept of yours is the best reusable grenade??

umm, do you plan on submitting your imaginary accessory somehow to the rest of us so that it can be tested against grenades that actually exist??

I'm not buying anything untested or just tested once. Always check a design several times before you try to sell it to somebody.

Ah. Well I'm interested in hearing how they work, but before you suggest an idea, make careful sure it'll work safely. We don't want somebody on here deciding to try out an idea that backfires on them.
