Dude, what guys are you playing with? Flashbangs can blind you, and they're usually a bad idea along with smoke grenades(most smoke grenades are cold-burning,which are prone to cause fires.) Stop playing with thost type of grenades, unless you want serious problems.

Flashbangs are grenades that do not send out shrapnel, but a very loud noise, and a very bright flash. They are designed to disorient a suspect so that they aren't paying attention when we enter. See here

99.5% of commercial fields WILL NOT permit any pyrotechnique devices. Some will not even allow some forms of AIR grenades and claymores.

However while on a private field it's your business, these days there is always some nut with homemade bombs and the like.... would you trust anyone to detonate anything homemade next to you?

Talking from personal experiences; I was not happy when a M80's worth of powder goes off 3 feet from me, and from my own team no less!

Can make for a very heated moment, specially when the ringing in my ears stayed for over 4 hours!

So, stick with industry certified equipment designed for Airsoft use.

We allow flash-bangs, and comercial or home-made smoke grenades, BUT, they must be tested BEFORE the game, in full view of everyone.

DefaultThey Should!

They should make flash bangs made for airsoft, just some thing waker then a real military/police flash bang. Cheaper too. I would use those as for home made, I don't trust home made grenades at all. Some thing that explodes made by some one that has not had training can be really risky. If they have had training ok I guess but they should be tested, like what Lee does.
