Yes.

It's a lot of fun as it's easier to move around concealed by shadows. But, red dot scopes and the such tend to be useless at night!

Night games are also a little cooler so your mask doesn't fog up as much.

me and my team play almost excursively at night due to everybody have odd days off. we do use red dot scopes, on the lowest illumination though...

we recently started playing against teams with gen 3+ night vision which gave them an obvious edge so i bought some online, i wasn't prepared to shell out for gen 3 so i found a reasonably priced gen 1+, Russian made monocular. it's about the size of a video camera and the resolution isn't that great and still requires infra red illumination in very low light, which is pointless against gen 3 as to them, i might as well be using a surefire flashlight and as gen 3 doesn't require infra red illumination, they still maintain the advantage, so i rarely use my NV...

some kind of ghillie gear is extremely effective against NV provided you don't move to quickly so i prefer that approach.

i have a short video clip of my team under heavy fire recorded using the gen 3 NV and also the ghillie gear i have developed in response in my blog, there is a link at the bottom of this post.

diferent generations of night vision.
gen one is like size of house and retarded. gen 3 is like epic stealth splintercell style. with a pricetag to match.
