How big is the sport where you live?

My team and i are from southern Maryland and where we are from the sport has not really caught on yet. How big is airsoft where you live?

Not caught on in Maryland? You only have Outdoor Adventures, Paintball Authority or whatever the other one is called, Tactical Airsoft Arena and Airsoft CQB within driving distance. Plus USairsoft forum and the Mid Atlantic Airsoft Players Registry are both based from Maryland area. The Maryland/DC/Northern VA area has hosted some pretty serious Ops in the last two years, such as Operation Imperial Vengence 1 and 2, Operation GrizzlyAgenda, and even John Wu's Northern Wind 3 or 4. There are literally hundreds of airsoft players in the area. Much more so than my section of VA, in which we are just starting to see some growth in game play. Now if we could just get them understand the whole "honor thing" we 'd be golden!

I wouldl love to know more about some of these events you speak of. I know O.A. I used to play paintball there, i had no idea that they host airsoft games. And i know the store in rockville and manassas, but there is really nothing in southern maryland! If you know of someplace please let me know!

Only me and most of my friends do it. Around here there's probably about 2 dozen people that actively play.

ya here in MO it hasnt caught on very much at all , we have two fields and a couple stores . ( around st. louis)

Right out here in Utah its expanding quite nicely actually. We have like 4 stores but unfortunately no real "official" fields. We DO have this nice abandoned factory however...

in pa it seems only the younger people below like 13 seem to play but there are a few people like me and my friends that still play
