DefaultMy First AEG

Hey guys, I'm VERY new to airsoft and I'm looking at getting into it. Naturally, I don't want to spend too much on my first gun. I would say 160 max, preferably 150 or less. Here are a few guns I was looking at. Let me know which one you think is best for starting out - or if you have any suggestions that I didn't notice.

JG MK36C Airsoft Gun ( Latest Edition ) by: JG - Airsoft GI - Welcome

ECHO 1 MK36K Ver. 3 Airsoft Gun (Now with Metal Bushings) by: ECHO 1 -

JG AUG Civilian Airsoft Gun by: JG - Airsoft GI - Welcome to the

JG M4A1 Airsoft Gun ( Enhanced Version ) by: JG - Airsoft GI - Welcome

ECHO 1 Phantom I Airsoft Gun by: ECHO 1 - Airsoft GI - Welcome to the

ECHO 1 STAG-15 Commando Airsoft Gun by: ECHO 1 - Airsoft GI - Welcome

A bunch of these are just different company's models of the same gun, i know, but I was wondering if its worth it to spring the extra 10-30 for the different company's name. Let me know. I really have no idea.

Thanks a lot guys =) I'm excited to get into this and get to know everyone.

I would go with 2nd gun (MK36K Ver.3 with metal bushings) without a doubt.

The Echo 1 G36s are notoriously great and you really can't complain about a K version with metal bushings thrown in.

It's got a good stock FPS etc. All you would really need to do to be matching big brand AEGs would be something like a Guarder Hop Rubber and a Tightbore.

Defiantly choice 1 or 2. I have an Echo 1 G36c and I love it. 50,000 rounds through it and still going strong. Very reliable version 3 gearbox (both "c" and "k" versions), super comfortable weapon to shoulder, easy to find upgrades, and overall just a very solid gun.

Thanks for the responses guys.

This brings me to another question. Is the Echo 1 model worth going another 25 bucks, or will the JG be a better deal. I feel like once I'm at 125 going to 150 isn't a big deal, and if it's really worth it, then it is a no brainer.

Let me know your opinions on JG vs. Echo 1

echo1 has metal bushings which makes it better.
