DefaultQuick Question about pump shotguns.

I've got a couple of friends who are looking to get into airsoft. Mainly so we can play around my house. (I live on a 5 acre lot). I have a G&G combat machine, and I am wondering if what I've heard about trishot shotguns is true. Should my friends wait until they can afford a decent AEG, or get a tri shottie? I've heard a decent 50 buck tri shot can hold its own against an AEG, but I was wondering if I could get some expert opinions on this, and if so what guns. (within a 25-60 dollar price range) Thanks.

I first started with a tri shot shotgun and got owned by an aftermath.

Come on guys, read his post. He stated he already has an AEG.

For some small play, I would say that would be fine. However, I would encourage you to play in a designated airsoft field rather than in your backyard.

C'mon Skate, read his post. He lives on a 5 acre lot.

Seriously, though, keep it away from public eyes.

On topic, I've succesfully fielded a UTG tri-shot against upgraded AEGs. Heck, quite a few local players do. It's a challenge, but very doable, especially in areas with a lot of cover and concealment.

Mr Sparky opened my eyes to Tri shotty's,,,,,i have two DE M56's and love em,,wickedly accurate.

Best 50 brick i have spent on anything airsoft related.

In short,,if he has not got the patience to hang on for an AEG then he could do a hell of a lot worse than a Tri Shot.

Anybody have any specific shotguns in the 25-60 dollar range they would like to post links too? I do have a specific aversion to running around picking up shells, so a magazine one would be nice, but whatever is the best model I'll tell my friends to get.

These four models between $30-$50 have always been our best selling shotties. They all shoot great and are very durable and sturdy:

Just so you know, bMan, the shotguns in your price range that use shells use them as magazines. They don't eject unless you physically remove them.

As for links, only three on this page are over $60:
