Upgrade Help

I am kinda new to airsoft i have played some over the last couple years but have just gotten my first "nice" gun. I got the well r7 m4a1 RIS from airsplat (I wold recommand airsplat.com to anyone who want to buy somthing) can anyone suggest some good low priced airsoft upgrades for this gun that are worth it to buy. and some places to play around pitt county nc. all help appriceated.

The Well R7 M4A1 RIS is not the best quality gun, I would not recommend putting upgrades into it.

Nothing to special, but since your gun is not the greatest quality, just get a few cheap upgrades. It should increase your guns range and accuracy.

A tbb would help. Adding to what Griffin said. Those are pretty much the basics. Extra mags, a red-dot, stuff like that are also handy tools.

I would suggest staying away from a tight bore since your gun isn't top quality so I wouldn't think it would be worth to put a tight bore into it. But if it was me, I wouldn't upgrade it since it is a pretty crappy gun.

Fair enough,,it may be a crappy replica to people who own kit costing two or three times more,,but it is fully TM compatible and uses a full metal V2 gearbox,,so it can be upgraded in to a serious stinger.

As the lads have said,,

It has an adjustable hop up so get rid of the stock bucking and replace with something of good quality,,id go with gaurder .

Throw in a 6.04mm tightbore barrel,,

Most clone aeg's come with badly fitted internal parts as opposed to bad quality parts,,so its very worthwhile re shimming and cleaning and re greasing all the internal bits n bobs,,,you would surprised at the effect that this can have.

Every other part of the AEG can be upgraded,,its just a case of how much you are willing to spend.

IMHO it has nothing to do with how expensive the base replica is,,i know a huge amount of people running Dboy's/JG and A&K M4's with literally
100's of euro's worth of upgrades put into them,,people might remark on how silly it is to spend that kind of money on a bottom/ middle of the road replica when they could of just bought a high end proline,,,its all about taking what you have at your disposal and making it better,,and i for one salute people who do just that.

You could re-grease and re-shim the internals, but I doubt you know to much about upgrading internally (no offense) so if you are going to re-shim and re-grease the internals get these shims for shimming them: Evike.com - Internal Parts | Evike.com - Shims | Evike.com - G&P Ultra Precision Gun Smith Gearbox Shim Set. Also, a new battery would make it's performance a bit better (higher ROF) so get this battery: Evike.com - Battery | Evike.com - Small Type | Evike.com - Intellect 9.6V Small Type 1600mAh Airsoft Battery Pack. | I am not 100% sure it will fit, but I am pretty sure.

Also, be sure to remember to shoot your gun on semi auto after you finish using it to re-set the spring so it doesn't lose FPS. Also be sure to get the upgrades I linked in my other post also. But as I said before, if I were you, I wouldn't upgrade it. But it is all your choice. One of the reason I wouldn't upgrade it, is because the externals are very crappy (if it is like the WELL R6 that I had a LONG time ago.).

probably the weakest part inside a WELL is the hop up. my r6e when dropped shattered the hop up. i would start with either that, a tbb, or a 9.6v battery
