poor mans crono???
Ok, I know a poor mans crono is an aluminum coke can. But how far away should you stand? What penetration is what fps roughly? If it doesn't Peirce it at point blank is it safe to say fps is under 250???

Load up the gun to be chronoed with some .20-gram bb’s. If you use .25-gram BBs your results will be flawed; I’ll explain later. Now align the muzzle of your gun 1-2 inches from the surface of the can, any closer or further, and your results will be off. If you are shooting through the side or sides of the can simply stand it up on a level surface. If you are shooting at either the top or bottom of the can, lay it on its side. Lastly, do not hold the can, this messes up your results too,

In order to accurately gauge your velocity, your shot must pass through the target are of the can in one shot; if it doesn’t, you’ll need a new can. Near breakthroughs and "It almost went through!" won't cut it here, that BB has to be on the other side of the target.

There are six ranges of penetration on a Coke can. In order of difficulty they are:
One Side…………….290+FPS
Both Sides…………..340+FPS
Bottom Center………385+FPS*
Bottom Edge………...450+FPS
Top Center…………..470+FPS
Top Edge……………500+FPS
|
So from that I would say any gun incapable of completely penetrating at least one side following the correct procedure would be under 290 FPS.

Coca Cola and Sprite cans will be the best to use. pepsi and other drinks(beer cans) are not always the same density.

Looking for the best M4 or really any AEG for under $200? Look not further than the G&G Combat Machine M4 (Blowback or Non-Blowback).

Took the gun to AEX today. These were the crono results with .20
107fps-226fps-235fps-260fps-266fps-242fps-261fps-258fps and it continued to fluctuate around 250-260 fps. I'm having it upgraded to 380+fps.

It actually stoped and became consistent at around 255fps. It was weird at first but fine after a few shots. So it was cronoing 250-256-255-253-257-256-254-ECT...
AEX has it now so they will fix any problems. Other than this, the AUG is awsome!

It supposedly has metal bushings, but if not I'm having them installed with the spring. Yes its a wonderful TM. If AEX sees anything bad they will replace that too.
