It's a AK-47 not AK-74.
The CM042 (AK-47) would be better quality then the AGM SCAR. Real wood furniture for the AK, full metal body, great internals, great FPS, great performance.

I love ak's to but from your standpoint look at it this way ak's are good solid guns but the scar defiently has tons more upgradeability inside and out so jus think about from that view I'm sure ul make the right decision

not a big fan of aks. but i like the real wood and full metal. plus, cyma's new guns are great internally and exteranlly.

a friend has one and he was stupid and used a 10.8v battery and shredded his gears, so don't use anything above 9.6v without mods. Otherwise great guns

my friend just got an Echo Scar and thing is kick butt, like battlehardened said, you can upgrade it a lot more that the AK but the AK is a pretty solid gun
I would go w/ the SCAR

my vote goes for the cyam ak, i love the scars but the cyma is a better performing rifle

Well I only plan on upgrading the internals. I'm not sure what yet, it depends on what i think the gun needs more of. But either way I only plan on putting maybe $100 into the internals for now. Eventually once something breaks i might upgrade it even more. idk
