I wouldn't get the CYMA M14 unless you are doing CQB

I've bought two of the AGM M14's off Airsoft GI, one black, one woodgrain.

Both guns stripped the sector gear within the first 30 days.
Both gearboxes were a horrible mess of green and brown goopy grease and their idea of shimming seemed to be to put 5 shims wherever they wanted to in the gearbox.

The selector switch failed on the first one two weeks later.

The second one lost its selector switch about a month after I sold it.

Fortunately, I was wise enough to buy 4 selector replacements from air-sharp when my first broke, but those have long since been used by other team mates.
Also, the trigger on the second one broke about two weeks after the guy I sold it to fixed the selector.

AGM M14? For me, never again.

TM or Cyma all the way.

Have you shot one?

Accuracy is amazing for a stock gun under $150.

As I said in another thread, I have team mates who put TBB and new buckings and consistently hit 200' shots.
The SOC-16 should still be good to 175'. It's barrel is 420mm, longer than an M4.

yeah I used to have one but I traded it for an AGM and all the people in my squad said that their AGM has lasted them about 2 years and they have never had to get it repaired.

The CYMA isn't short, their are two versions one short the other long. Plus it comes stock with a 6.04 inner barrel
