Default M203 for room clearing

i'm thinking about getting a M203 hand held preferably for room clearing but even a mounted version could work. but i have never used one or even know anyone who has one.

i would like to know what brand is better (not neccesraly cheaper) and what FPS do the shells fire at, can they be upgraded (i need about 350 to 400 FPS) and am i correct in assuming that all these shells fire the entire payload at once whether they hold 24-165 rounds. thanks in advance.

I think its MADBULL do the best grenades and you need to use high powered gas in them otherwise the bbs just fall out the front.
Pretty much all M203s do the same job. Aslong as its a tube with a trigger

yeah, i figured Madbull would be one of the better brands. so if i used green gas would the shell need to be modified? would i need something more powerful than green gas? and about firing, do they fire the whole payload in one shot because some shells can hold over 150 BB's. and is it a case of more BB's=lower FPS?

Greengas would just be a slightly less powerfull shot I believe. Yep they blast all 150 bbs out the front in a sort of cone shape obliterating anything that gets in the way
Yeah but the larger capasity grenades are longer and have a bigger i guess 'reservoir' for the gas so it shouldnt be a problem with more bbs.

cool, so what gas would you recomend, would the shell need upgrading and do you have any idea what the spread would be like over a range of 20-30ft?

Im not sure the gas me and my friends use is called High Powered Gas not sure if it compresses more or sumthing and I can't remember the brand + have none lying around so I couldn't help you with that. Atleast at the moment.
No the grenade shouldnt need to be modified at all.
Im not sure about spread. It sort of depends on how high pressure youve got in the nade (if that makes sence) and how many bbs etc.

Default m203 for room clearing

ye 210- 240fps would be on the money using ulra air green gas,,although they are very hard to crono,,,the bigger the capacity of the grenade the more gas it holds, rubber slugs can also be got(they hurt like hell) as can foam rockets(utter crap but great fun),,grenades range from 18round to 204round,word of advice though, if you are thinking of mounting a launcher then be ready for extra weight, i put one on to my CA xm177 and was shocked at how it through off the balance of the gun, another alternative is a TM tactical launcher, its looks like a m203 with a pistol grip but works like a triple shooter shotgun.,,,check it out on ARNIES airsoft reviews.----sorry,id give you a link,,but im crap with a pc.
