You can, but your gun will not perform at its best.
You want the silicone spray oil.
Grease is for gears. If you put it on your GBB, it will attract dust and dirt and cause more problems than if you didn't use any lube.

I run Condor gear just to piss you off.
It's working too...

Sigh. Spray silicone is for mags only.
To oil your gun, the best way to do it is using rc car shock oil, since it's hardcore pure silicone.
10w for cold weather, 20w for hot weather. Since lubing your gun up can use a lot of oil after repeated applications, rc car shock oil is not only cheap, you get a good amount in each bottle.
We rely solely on it for our classics. It's a shame more people don't know about this or I'm sure plenty of "airsoft products" would be dropped in price by quite a bit.
You can also use the shock oil to fix dry or leaky seals, to clean the gun up and get it running good.
To oil your slide if your having catching problems, you can always use graphite powder along the slide if your playing in dusty conditions. Silicone attracts dust, graphite does not. (of course no graphic goes in anything where gas flows through...

I've been using spray silicone oil for years on everything in my gbb guns with no problems.
I have a pint bottle of photocopier15 wt silicone oil I use for seals and o rings, especially when rebuilding mags, but there is nothing wrong with the convenience of spray oil for slides, blowback chambers, hammers, triggers, and everything else on a gbb that needs lube.
I've tried graphite before too. Great for pinewood derby axles, but too messy for me in GBB guns...

I prefer graphite, oil sepage is very annoying. If I don't use graphite i'll use a ceramic grease.

mmm messy. lol. I get the picture of laying in diff and tranny fluid for 8 hours straight when someone says that word. MMM you can just smell the diff fluid. yum. lol.
Naw, nothing against how airsoft silicone works. It works fine. It just costs mega $ in relation to what rc silicone does. It is also better for fixing dry seals (takes less).
And yea, oil seepage sucks chaos that's why I normally mention graphic powder for more advanced users looking to try new lube methods. I think it works great on the inside of slide rails on metal frame/slide guns. Doesn't do a hoot with plastic slides. If anything it wears the composite slides faster IMO.
