Upgrades for UTG L96 Airsoft Sniper?

Can someone help me out with getting upgrades for my UTG L96 Sniper. I'm currently not sure what upgrades to get for it and what kind of parts will be compatible with the gun. I want more fps and accuracy. please help!

my l96 pushes 400 with .28 gram, bbs. why would it need an upgrade?

ditto, why spend so much moolah for relatively minimal performance bumps? plus when are you really going to REQUIRE those upgrades?.... stock should be fine.....

you dont need them. im actually going to downgrade mine in fps cause at my field you have to take a marksmans course for anything over 400. so does anyone know where i could get a spring that pounds out around 380 for my l96?

so there is no need to get any upgrade at all just for accuracy?

a 6.01 tb is all u would need, since it has a 6.03 tb already. andi no what you mean that gun isnt very accurate.

ya, but at 550'? 500' is what mine will reach to. and i'd like to hit what im aiming at when i shoot there, you know what i mean?

Dee's is not making inner barrels anymore. I spent over a grand on upgrading my L96 and from my expierence, upgrade parts are out there but not as easy to find as the VSR or BAR10 models in the sniper class.

First, try and find a TB inner barrel (6.01). Then, for the type 96 you HAVE to upgrade the Hop Up chamber. I used a PDI unit which worked out very well. With that I went with a FireFly Bucking, 4 Barrel Spacers, and a new Cylinder Set complete with a 170SP Spring (OK Brand). When you use these upgrades, you also must upgrade the trigger mech since the stock one will not handle the strain of your upgrades. I went with the PSS96 Zero which had an amazing hair trigger pull. All of which is costly, but you will never compete with a modded AEG unless you go the extra mile.

For the Type 96 you have to go overseas for parts. You just cant find them in the US. Hence the reason I switched to the VSR10. But, My 96 was pushing 600+ FPS and VERY accurate upwards of 325'.

hey devildog0481 i have a L96 it is realy powerfull but i nead to no how much u spent to get your gun up to 600 fps and i use .20g bbs or should i use .28g bbs
