What gun would you like to see?

Hey, I was curious if anyone here has a particular gun they would like to see replicated as an airsoft gun, whether AEG or gas.

Me, I'd love to see a Smith & Wesson M76 AEG or a full-size Uzi AEG that does above 300 FPS stock with .20 gram pellets. I'm a HUGE fan of 70s-80s action movies and shows, and my loadout reflects this, with stuff such as pre-A2 M16s, pre-74 AKs and even a Tommy Gun. I've seen a couple of M76 airsoft replicas, but one was home-made, and the other was one of those classic airsoft guns that needed to be hooked up to one of those big-*** air tanks. As for the Uzi, I know Tokyo Marui made - key word: MADE - one, but it only did like 240-250 FPS and could barely be upgraded, if at all, and then there's that cheapo WELL R1 copy.

If there is demand they will make it...sadly...demand for 1980's replicas is slim to none with "new" airsofters.

Case in point...Cybergun...many guns were made and sales were abysmal...

Since I don't think KWA will make any more ERGs, a TM Recoil Shock ACR

I've got a few, and an accessory suggestion

If somebody could come up with an (unrealistic) 50-round drum magazine for the WE-Tech M1A1. Has to be loaded exclusively from the left side, given an intentionally weak feeding spring to jam it often, and has 90% of the body filled with lead weights.

MARK I Desert Eagle would be cool. Make it look just like the Marui NBB but with the adjustable rear sight.

Gas-blowback M1918A2 with a ****-off heavy bolt to slow down the rate of fire to close to realistic. 20 rds with a magazine that size could do a good job for performance. WE-Tech could probably pull this one off and make a good balance between price and materials.

You place WE too high in capability...that is if you are okay with paying for a $900 Gas BAR...BTW...there is a "Gas" BAR in Taiwan...but it's not in WE's office. The said prototype cost NT85,000 in 2011 Pricing...

Just make the amo can attached and big enough to hide a 2 lb bottle in it, hook the gun up directly to the bottle.
(Might work better with a Maduce……). Maybe design it to use those backpacker stove canisters….fittings would be smaller too….hmmmmm

LOL….It would definitely be a medium/heavy machine gun teem needed to run. One for the gun, one for the tripod, and 1 for the amo cans/support fire…or vehicle mounted….then its just the crew….I definitely would not want to be the gunner in the crew on foot. But it would be fun to fire. Especially with a heavy bolt…..

*EDIT*
Well, it may be more doable than all that….I just found that Daytona makes a HPA kit with recoil for the A&K m249. The EMG 1919 uses the same gearbox. Now the trick is how to fit a bottle into the ammo box….

S&W M76 would be pretty cool. It's not just an 80s action movie gun, the Joker used one in The Dark Knight. There's also a story of a gun shop owner in Florida using one to defend his store against like 10 robbers at once or something. Yay full auto.

9A-91 that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. FN MAG. Ruger AC556. S&W M360PD because a plastic one would weigh the same

Yeah, I remember that scene in The Dark Knight. Also, I didn't expect that anyone else here knew about the Beckwith Incident. An MAG would be quite cool, too, although I think A&K already makes a 240 Bravo. Also, I wouldn't mind an AC556 considering I'm a big fan of The A-Team and it fits in with my other guns. I recall hearing about the 9A-91 somewhere, but the 360PD is new to me.

Not a gun, but I just wish there was more dummy ammunition available. Ideally, dummy 30-round M4 magazines with realistic, fake-rounds peeking out of the top. I live in California where you can't get 30-round magazines (despite recent court decisions). I would need someone out-of-state to pack the bottom of a magazine with some cement (or something to make them inoperable) with empty cartridges (bullet + empty shell) on top. I would need at least six to pack the front of a chest-rig. This would actually be legal to own in California.

As Guges mentioned, snap caps in a mag. I purchased some "10" round magazines for a .22 mp5 I have, and they were in the 25 round box. When I opened the mags up, they were 'disabled' with a peace of round bar glued in to stop the follower from going any lower than the 10 round count. But for the part of just being a prop, does anyone sell a ca legal STANAG stile mag?

AFAIK you can possess 30rd magazines but you cannot purchase them. The ban that criminalized everyone who possessed grandfathered mags was struck down in court, which resulted in "Freedom Week" and the reinstatement of the original sales ban. I've heard that disassembled mags might make it through but it sounds sketchy. And legal or not, I see zero CA compliant ARs or 10rd mags when I go to the range

Things are not Draconian in CA.

Buy these on ebay.

Snap Cap 5.56 Rounds - It's even sold from SF, CA.

And put them in these mags

CAL LEGAL MAGS

selling, "30" round mag....viola. Your prop...really...it's not that hard.

Damn, Guges, you are a lifesaver! I searched Google and eBay and didn't find anything. Guess I used the wrong search terms. Thank you, AGAIN!!!

And while we're at it- where's the SVD? Something tells me the current logistics issues Guges mentioned in another thread is going to delay these getting stateside.

Also- I've always wanted to see one of these (BS-1/GSN-19) made, because 74u's deserve launchers too:

LCT also has/had a 9 month production delay for their components...one of their sub contractors was busy on a "larger" project.

Thus GHK is also affected by LCT delays for GHK gets LCT to make many of their items.

Having used a Blank adapted 1919A4 and carried a blank adapted semi auto BAR, both of those are heavy beasts. The 1919 weighs around 30lbs without the tripod and the BAR is about 19 without the bipod and carry handle. I don't think a 2lb propane cylinder will fit in a 30 cal can. If you could find a short skinny one, it might. A butane canister for a stove might fit.

#36 ·
Butane doesn't work at all, thus that is why they are using propane.
