The MK16 by WE is a nice new addition to their line of airsoft guns. Externally, the WE MK16 features a metal upper receiver and polymer lower receiver similar to the real gun counterpart. The monolithic upper rail provides the user with multiple uninterrupted rail space for proper optic placement. The ambidextrous controls allows the user to become more versatile when shooting with their left or right hand. Internally, the WE MK16 features a Version 2 Gearbox with 8mm copper bushings as well as a reinforced steel gear set, polycarbonate piston, polycarbonate ported piston head, and aluminum cylinder. The gear are pre-shimmed for better performance and longevity of the gun. One cool feature that this MK16 carries is the spring release system. Once the gun is put on safe, the anti-reversal latch is released to decompress the spring as well as reduce tension on the other gearbox components. Overall, the external finish is exquisite with a well built gearbox. Another great product by WE.
