Would like an assault rifle, under 160 prefferably. Any style except ak 47s any others are ok. Augs are great, m4s are just as good, but others are good as well. Must be under 400fps.

    So,

    $160 or under
    No ak 47s
    -400 fps (under 400)
    Augs and m4s are great
    Assault rifle

And shifty, don't delete this, went through all the threads and none use close to my price range

    Found a g&g m4 http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?cPath=21_44_218&products_id=32676
    And a matrix m4 http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?cPath=21_44_616&products_id=32727
    On evike

I have owned a Combat Machine M4 and I loved mine but that was 3 years ago and most people on this forum are saying they suck so maybe their quality has gone down. I have no experience with the AIM M4 but I can say that you will not be disappointed with the externals on the Combat Machine.

JG would also be a good brand

Did you look at this ? Second post gives you a good layout of guns within your range.

While I don't personally own a CM I shot one and wasn't impressed. Externals are great but I't didn't shoot that great. I've had JG's and they shoot smoother. For this reason I would recomend a JG.

Edit your posts, triple posting is ew.

Get the ICS, way better than JGs and G&Gs.

Do not get that combat machine . Either get a JG M4/Aug, a CYMA Ak\m14, or an ICS sport line.

You should search this. Very few people recommend the current rendition of the CM

I will say one good thing about the G&G, externally it's nice. I think ABS/Composite material is good. But I trust enough people's opinion on here, especially if you're not a good tech that wants to put additional $$ into it, that the internals of the other recommendations (JG, ICS) will make you a happier airsofter.

The ICS is tons better than the CM. The ICS sportline is the same as their prolines, except for badder externals and a downgraded motor.

    Here's my OPINION!!!

    1. ICS Sportline
    2. G&G CM
    3. CYMA AK/M14
    4. JG G36/AUG
    5. JG M4s

    That's how see it.

Why are you still trying to go against what we're suggesting?
    I'm done with this thread.

I consider both companies to be equal. Both are great stock and last a long time. I bought G+G when I got started 3 years ago and have had absolutely no problems. My friend bought an ICS that same year and has had no problems either. Both of us have left these guns stock because we saw no need to upgrade them. My rifle shoots .28g out to 250' accurately and his shoots about the same. In the end it's going to be about convenience if you are not going to do many upgrades either gun is fine but if you are going to upgrade heavily then I'd say go with the ICS because of the split gearbox.

Please refer to Fyzix's post about bfegler in my signature to realize that the performance he's talking about is BS.
