So, I know one piece outer-barrels are the best but my main wonder is, How bad are 2-piece barrels really?

Depends on the quality. If they align properly and you secure them properly, then they're not a problem.

Interesting.....I have a G&G 2-piece and it has been holding up good so far....I really was wondering what makes a one-piece so much better?

There are no joints, or breaks in the connection, in a one piece. A joint tends to be a weak point and all usually lead to problems like barrel wobble.

Would this make a sling loop on the front assembly of a 2-piece unreliable?

No, the sling loop shouldn't change anything.
