My son got one today for $25- nice gun.... buuuutttt!

It shot 450fps with .20 BBs way to fast for the field limit of 350fps. Well here is the fix to slow it down.

    Tools:

Small file, fine tooth hack saw blade exacto knife.

Take the file and make a even notch to guide the hack saw blade into the forcing cone. It is spring loaded so be exacting. Once you have recessed the forcing cone with a cross hatch - cut into the forcing cone to a depth of 1/8 inch. This is so the cone can vent CO2 and lower the FPS.

After the cuts are made you need to take an exacto knife and cut the silicone seal face off the back of the cylinder frame. This is a black square opposite the hammer. This allows more CO2 to vent. Lowering FPS.

We took this little revolver from 450FPS + to 339-350 ish. Without having to take it apart and with hand tools.

Fix took 10 min to concoct, and twenty to complete at the field. D14 was happy to work with me to test the FPS reductions of different cuts. Gremlin was bagging bad guys the rest of the day, and the added venting was visually satisfying.

The forcing cone is sprung and rotates freely. Cut, then turn 90 degrees, cut.

And hold it a few inches away from the chrono otherwise you measure ice spray speed.
