I was wondering if any body had any good Aeg recommendations? Ive been playing airsoft with my friends for a couple years now in an old feild and they are all upgrading to automatics. Ive been looking at the Kwa g36c but im not sure exactly if its good or not. Im trying not to go over $400 so... If anyone has any suggest send them this way. Thanks!

KWA AEGs are overpriced. Get a G&P, VFC, or Classic Army Proline.

KWAs have limited upgrade ability. And it would be cheaper to just get a JG or a G&G CM and upgrade it. For $400 you can get a really good stock gun and not have to upgrade.

I'm looking for a durable gun with about 380-400 fps which is what the g36c was but I'll keep looking if you guys think I can do better.

You can do a lot better. Here's what you can do:

    Get a G&P, ~$250-$300
    Get a M120 spring, ~$10-$15
Install the spring, correct AOE and shimming, and boom. Reliable AEG with 380-400 FPS.

But you may want to buy a smart charger and Lipos with the extra money left over. Also if you plan on running 11.1v lipos I would reccomend a mosfet.

Airsplat is reliable, but last I checked they don't carry G&P. They have some Classic Army guns I think, and those would be good, sometimes better. With your price range you could get a really good CA. Let me do some searching.

Evike carries both, and is reliable most of the time. Lately they've been a bit iffy from what I've heard.

Edit: LiPo means Lithium Polymer, and yes it's a battery. It lasts longer and gives you a higher fire rate. I'd recommend a 7:4v for the mean time, but if you want to keep it basic grab a good 9.6v.

So if I get an 11.1 volt battery wouldn't that strip the gears?

It would most likely damage the piston and the motor. Get a MOSFET if you run an 11.1v.

    Here's a good Classic Army:

There are plenty of others, but make sure to not get one that says "sportline," those are bad.

So what's a mosfet? Is that a gun type?
