If that's the 21tpa Arcturus it's a very impressive performer, made a direct comparison to a Tienly 25k in a 1j 16:1 DSG w/ SP140 and it gave the latter a run for it's money.

18:1 gears aren't exactly 18:1, no load RPM will vary a bit above or below spec between units (and batteries), etc - such things will throw that calculation off. Still a reasonable way to guestimate the theoretical RPS, but the more accurate the input the more accurate the output

The Tienly gave me ~2 more RPS in auto than the Arcturus IIRC. In semi the Tienly cut cycle time by ~2ms.

edit: slightly related, I measured the no-load RPM on a old HT + plotted the V drop in semi on 1s, 2s, 3s and 4s batteries previously. Might be interesting data to bounce here

I honestly don't know what to call this post. All I know is I stumbled across this thread and (unless I read it wrong) it kinda upsets my understanding of high speed builds (as in high TPA motor, HS gears is more efficient than low TPA motor, HT gears)...
