I have an AGM vietnam style M16, when I got it I was stupid and decided to open it up. Long story short I ripped up a spring and had to send it in for repairs, when it came back I noticed the top part of the receiver was loose. It wobbles now and i'm unsure of what is wrong. Could the be the locking pins or what? A fix would also be appreciated.

That's a HUGE gap in the receiver. And it's pot metal

That does absolutely nothing to help him.

What I would do is take out the two pins and slide the receivers apart. Then, pushing down, slide them back together. It could be something creating that gap. It is metal so there isn't anything bending.

I believe there's something called a "magic pin" or something like that that is designed to stop that from happening. I'm not too educated on it, but it could be a start for some research.
