Hey guys I was wondering i anyone has ACTUALLY built the reciever from metal or plastic. Im really interested in building a gun from scratch. Anyone know how to form the plastic? or build it?

    Something like this

Have we ever "ACTUALLY but the receiver from metal or plastic" ? This makes no sense whatsoever.

I think he's asking if anyone has machined their own parts/receivers to use on an airsoft build.

Op: If you have access to a proper CNC machine and someone that knows how to use it extremely well that would be possible.

There are other methods that can be used but i do not know much about them.

well if you are interested in plastic molding isnt your only option. Certain plastics can be CNC'd, you just have to do it right so as to not burn them. If you are just going for a basic shell CNC is a good option, a replica would probably want molding for best results.

You can get plastic parts 3D printed as well.
