My time for a mile is 7:32, let's here your times.
My best mile time is 7:01. I don't actually run on a team due to the amount of schoolwork I have, but I get out running whenever I can. I ran the PA spartan race last month which was hard but fun.
Nice I'm trying to get myself down to that time.
My best time for a single mile is about 5:50. Best for two is 11:56. Best for three is 19:30.
I believe there is already a thread for this, but I can't remember... Oh well! I run a 4:35, and last XC season, I ran a 16:03. But I have gained some speed since then. Yesterday, I ran a tempo, and with some hills, I still did a 10:58 2 mile, followed by a 5:28, and then a 5:10 mile.
Last year in track my mile was 6 flat. Have not timed for xc yet
Normally I run the 400m but I decided to try XC this season it's actually pretty legit
It is. Most people think that running is just... Running. It's more than that though, an that is the hard part to explain.
Yea I run 2 miles in 15 minutes but I'm trying hard to pace myself and get to a low number.
my best cross country time is a 14:58 3 mile, best i have seen was the guy who won state with a 14:12
People always tell me runnings easy and anyone can do it. I agree but not everyone can be good at it. I have found XC to be a lot more fun that sprinting as well, I like hills and XC allows me to excel there. Also I have found that if I sprint ahead at the beginning of the race and just try to stay ahead I do well.
What year at state? If it was recently , I might know who it is.
My brother can run a mile in 5:45!
Tried XC back in 7th grade..my mile was about 6 minutes, so I wasn't terrible. Short running I'm great...but after that first mile im winded lol. Just wasn't for me. Had a good time though, till I got to "Thhhhhiiiiiiissssss sucks." half way up the hill
7:40 is my time .
it was 2006 in california
I ran a 5:40 mile. And I ran 4 miles in 28:58 in the 28 minute range was my goal ROFL
I don't run cross country but my best mile was 7:32. I'm pretty bad endurance wise.
Right now mine is 8:25 because I broke my ankle and getting it down I know slow!
