So i have an MP5 in which both selector switches fell off, this is a rather old gun but i would still like to fix it, buying new ones is more than I wan to spend on an old gun. Ive tried superglue and it didn't work, any suggestions? Its a pair of metal selector switches.

Did you try putting in the set screw on the side you would hit with you thumb if your right hand was on the pistol grip.

Its a really weird situation where it was glued on before, and the glue has worn out, so i cant screw it in. I don't really understand what a set screw is... Could you explain?

Yea I think just buying a new one would be the way to go, I will consider it for the future, just wondering if anyone had any ideas.
