So, nothing new here, just a beginner who needs a loadout! Anyway, I have $570-$600 MAX budget (It'll end up being around $500 with ASGI coupons or whatnot) for a full loadout. So, I need and AEG (Would like an M4, G36C, or SCAR, but I'm open to suggestions), gear, basically everything (Pistol would be nice :), but not necessary). All help is appreciated!

I guess. I really don't know what I'm doing, so any help would be appreciated. I just want to know what I should get in the $500-$570 range. I don't want to be a bother, sorry if I'm asking for too much. :(

So are you looking for functionality, style or do you want to do an impression?

Go do some research then mabey feed us some links on why you are thinking. Nice budget though we will be able to work with it. Do you want like a full Milsim type load out or just like a functional one.

Do you already have face protection and BBs?

    Weasel/Cajun-
I'm looking for function, something like this (and I'd like to be able to add onto it in the future to make it "mil-sim"): http://img338.imageshack.us/img338/2589/img4920un2.jpg
aryneel- No, I don't have face protection or BBs

Basically, I want function now, and be able to add on to it to do a "mil-sim" look later. This is near what I'm looking for: http://img338.imageshack.us/img338/2589/img4920un2.jpg

And no, I don't have face protection or BBs

I really just want a functioning loadout, nothing fancy yet, but I would like it as a base to be able to be upgraded to a "mil-sim" type loadout later.
Picture of what I want the loadout to look similar to: http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk233/Aqua_Donkey/pierce011.jpg

And no, I don't have BBs or face protection.

Does your field require full face masks? Or are goggles allowed?

Goggles are allowed as long as I have a Shemagh/Balaclava/Neoprene/Mesh/Whatever covering the lower half of my face

-Edit- It is a CQB field BTW

From what I've heard a good setup is goggles and a mesh lower face mask. Sadly I haven't been able to try it out because my field requires me to have a face mask (also cqb).

So witch loadout are you looking at ? You gave us 2 different ones. (personally I like #1 more)

    2. http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk233/Aqua_Donkey/pierce011.jpg

Gun brands you should look for - G&P / VFC / ICS / CA
Gear Brands - Flyee / Pantac / EI
BB brands - Golenball / KSC / TSD / almost anything except crossman.
Goggle brands - ESS / Flakjacks / revisions / Bolle

I strongly suggest getting a some type of lower face mask. In CQB you WILL get shot in the face. A shemag can work but Id much rather have something hard.

Go on some of the major sites and do a little research on the guns. If you find one you like give us the link and we can tell you the pros & cons. Also do the same thing for gear. The main thing about gear is you want it to be functional.

I was looking at loadout #1

    This gun seems good:
    http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=10168
It's VFC like you said, so, idk. Is there a cheaper gun that looks similar to that (Rails, CQB length, etc.).

    I like this chest rig:
    http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=10911
Is there any good plate carriers like in loadout 1?

    These Goggles:
    http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=3891

    This mesh mask:
    http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=8557

    These BBs:
    http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.phpcPath=27_44_191&products_id=67

Basically, is there any cheaper guns similar to the one I chose, any good plate carriers, and would I have room for a side arm in my budget?

Just saying there really isn't a point in having a chest rig if you got nothing to put on/in it....
There are some pretty good M4's (I thing) out there that are cheaper, But I'm not too sure...
    (I'm a M4 hater :p)

I'll end up putting stuff on it, this is just a base for now.
(Plus, it has mag pouches built in for whatever mags I get.)

You can always check out JG line of guns. This way you would have room for a pistol. The VFC will perform a lot better. Also check out www.evike.com they have a good selection of G&P M4s

G&P makes quality internal parts. I've not heard anything about their gears being a problem. However it never hurt to upgrade down the road.

1badweasel, how do they compare to VFC? Is it worth another $30 to get the VFC over the G&P?

-Edit- Also, how is the KWA CQR?

For CQB you should consider a shotgun or something like a Mac11 pr UZI. You can get those for cheap and still have enough money to get gear. Or you could get some of the guns you listed And for gear get a tactical vest and maybe have a holster on it so you can put a pistol there and make sure and get about 2-3 extra mags and go for a speedloader and I would get a full face cover because getting shot to the face from that close hurts! And get .25g bbs. Hope I helped so goodluck and most important have fun!!!!!

I want to get an AEG, so, yeah... Anyway, I am leaning toward the chest rig for mobility. I have a speedloader. And lastly, I'm not going to get a pistol if it affects the quality of the AEG. Thanks for the help though!
