In plain terms, LiPos don’t like it if your try and pull too much power from them, so if your LiPo is too weak for your gun by just a bit, it’ll still fire but it’ll overdraw your LiPo, causing it to be slower than it should be, and eventually ruin your LiPo. Sometimes it’s slow, sometimes it’s fast. I had this issue quite a lot when I first started upgrading guns and knew nothing about batteries. Upgraded guns are more similar to EBBs in terms of current draw than other stock guns.

Not just lipos.
