Hello everyone, im in airsoft for 5 years, i had few guns in the past like specna arms, core, edge, edge2, novritch snipers etc...
Now i want to try to build DMR for my self!! I know its not easy but i would like to try, so any advices are welcome!
First i wanna ask you what do you think is krytac good choice??
Parts that i want to change over time are:
1. Prometheus Barrel 455mm
2. Spring m135 m140 (i dont wanna go over 450 fps)
3. Buckings maybe , G&G green or something?
4. Since this krytac has Mosfet , i think i don't need to get different one cus this one will do the job?
5. Motor is 30k inside of krytac? so do i need anything more than that for this build?
6. and last but not least i was thinking do i need to change anything in my gearbox? Cylinder or something?
7. Battery: 11.1 Lipo titan 3000mah.

Once again, and advices are welcome!
also let me know if i need to change something that i didnt mention here.

The titan battery is not ideal, quite the underperformer actually. I'd go with a gens ace battery, something like these:

Generic "amazon" RC racing lipos can be decent as well.

Also [mention]Guges Mk3 [/mention] is always a good option for quality lipos...

Good Barrel, Good rubber, HIgh quality BBs, and a strong enough spring to get you to the 450 mark….DMR is a accuracy roll, similar to sniper play, but with a higher rate of fire. stay in the back and lay down cover fire for your teem. Since DMRs are usually relegated to SA only, I don’t know how much work on the gearbox is necessary. But others will chime in about that. Focus on the barrel group.

I have to tell you that in the case of a Krytac...most aftermarket parts are Not an Upgrade.

1. Prometheus Barrel 455mm

Not an upgrade. Stock Krytac Barrels are very good and swapping to this barrel will not net you any significant improvements.

2. Spring m135 m140 (i dont wanna go over 450 fps)

M130 is what you should be using. A High Quality M130...no one makes a "good" M135 Spring. All good springs are in increments of 10...M100, M120, M130...etc.

3. Buckings maybe , G&G green or something?

This would be no change if you want an improvement. Try a more modern hop-up packing/rubber/bucking in a Maple Leaf or other hop-up packing that has a large contact patch.

4. Since this krytac has Mosfet , i think i don't need to get different one cus this one will do the job?

That depends, but essentially its does do something....so, yes.

5. Motor is 30k inside of krytac? so do i need anything more than that for this build?

Ideally, no, but there is room for improvement if you want to a Tienly 25K.

6. and last but not least i was thinking do i need to change anything in my gearbox? Cylinder or something? You don't need to with a M130

Technically...nothing.

7. Battery: 11.1 Lipo titan 3000mah.

Don't use LION in cells in these type of builds. LION are inferior.

I've worked on a few Krytacs, and I think they're a very good choice for a DMR build, since you don't need to change most of the internals.

Polish your stock barrel to a mirror shine.

Use a modern hop rubber like Guges suggests. Not sure if the Krytac stock hop unit will fit an ML packing, but if it will those are a good choice.

PDI 210% spring to start off.

Full steel cylinder if the cylinder is ported. If it's not, polish the stock cylinder and keep it.

The Krytac 30K is relatively weak. It is technically a "neodymium" motor, but it's a weak one. For a stronger spring, go with a stronger motor. I use an ASG 30K Boost in mine, which is significantly stronger than the stock motor in terms of Torque.
