I got to try out the ICS M3 grease gun last weekend and loving it. But how the heck are you supposed to carry spare mags?? These things are huge and AK or Thompson pouches don't seem to cut it.

Has anyone discovered a way to lug these things around other than tossing them in a sack. I've been told this is what was historically done in WW2 until specific pouches were made post war.

Or MP5, MP40, MP44, MP7, and last but not MP, the Sten.

MP5 will not work, their way too short.

Yeah, I guess that's true. Then neither will MP7.

I've tried mp40, thompson, ak holders and these things are just too long. Id say thy are about 3 inches longer than an mp40 mag. The p90 is a great idea. Ill check it out.

I've stayed away from historical reproduction gear due to the high cost and im not really a re-enacter.

    Thank you for the suggestions.

How long at the mags? I was diging around my garage and found a bag I use to use for paintball. Used it as a capture the flag/item piece.

Do you have a WW2 loadout?

Reading this gave me an idea. I checked my paintbal pod pack holder and they fit. Not the best solution because they shift around and sound like a giant baby rattle. Better than a sack though.

No I don't. I'm not really ready to drop that kind of cash.

Haha, I understand. I have one and it has easily cost me $1100.

I took a hunting vest for a shotgun and modified it for grenades. It might work for your m3

If it only holds grenades, how will it fit grease gun mags?

Cut the shell pockets up and down

Was I suppose to make it? If so, I apologize I miss understood, and no I haven't. Your best bet would be just buying WW2 pouches, or a satchel to carry the mags in.
