Hi Guys,
I just recieved my JGM4A1.
Im a noob with these guns. I think they rock though.
My gun, as far as I can tell, rocks! Im sure everyone thinks that about thiers!
haha.
anyhows, I dont want to damage the battery. How long should it charge without damaging?
Can I recharge even though it might only be half dead?

to fing the time it takes to charge your batterry just use this equation battery MAH / the MAH output of your charger

If it's a Ni-Cad battery, discharge it fully before recharging.

If it's Ni-Mh battery, you can top it off from half charge.

I would strongly suggest two things.

First, buy a smart charger. They can be found for less than $30 and will shut themselves off when your battery is charged, regardless of the level of charge when you first put it on.

Second, invest in a couple good batteries. Tenergy, Sanyo, Sony, Intelect, and Elite are considerably better than the batteries that come stock with the Chinese guns. The higher the mAh rating of the battery, the longer it'll last before needing to be recharged.

I have a shoe box full of those ACM batteries that won't hold a charge anymore, and most are less than 6 months old.
