I am trying to wrap up a gearbox build and have several different nozzle lengths. I am looking to find what the correct nozzle length is for this current setup.
I could go through the build list if that is needed but it is more of a general question than item specific question.
How do you determine what the right length is?
I currently have the gearbox without the gears in it. The cyl, cyl head, tappet plate, tappet plate spring and nozzle are installed. This keeps the nozzle full forward. I have my barrel, bucking, chamber and chamber clip installed with zero hop. When I push the chamber against the gearbox/nozzle, the nozzle pushes a bb through the bucking lips every time. Is this the wrong process?
I thought that the bb was supposed to perch on the lips of the bucking until the piston is released and the air pushed the bb through the lip . Maybe I am thinking of it wrong. Idk.
