I am looking into getting a better cqb gun. I want an M4 with at least a 6 in ris. I want to attach my magpul ctr stock an put a stick type battery in the buffer tube/stock. Any suggestions on a gun?

    JG M4.
I mean.....they are dirt cheap....yet they probably has one of the best internals for stock guns....

If attach a CTR stock a stick type battery MIGHT not fit, it's possibly but I think an 8.4v is the only realistic battery you'll get in there, besides buffer tube LiPos.

I, personally, would get a G&G CM, the FPS is already CQB ready. Grab a HS motor (lonex is good, I think it's the blue, either that or SHS), slime 16 AWG wiring, etc.

I don't want a gun with a longer barrel like the CM I want one kinda like a fighting cat but with a longer RIS so I can fit a AFG on.

They make CQB CMs. Short barrels, full length RIS.

Do they have one with a full metal RIS?

Just get the JG....no need to buy new motor....
All the internals are seriously better than G&G...and the guns are full metal...

If I can't fit a 9.6 battery in the stock I can get a peq box but I don't know how to wire it to the front

Lol, why does everybody think that M4's are good for CQB? M4's and M16 have major disadvantages when it comes to CQB fighting, One they are so long, when you go from building to building, it's hard to move around with such a long weapon. Your probably better off with a bullpop design weapon, like the Tavor, or P90, or F2000, or even a AK-74M, those are so much better than a M4 in CQB scenario. I know a AK-74M doesn't have the bullpop design.

-__- the AK-74m has a longer barrel than a standard length M4.... a CQB M4 is much shorter than a an AK-74m. Now, the AKS-74u will have a shorter barrel. Plus, he wants 6in RIS. Do ANY of your above options include a 6in RIS? AND he wants an M4, as stated in the OP.

    Um...hello?
    He said shorter front end.....
    A short M4 isn't much longer than a P90....

No to mention....maybe he just prefer the M4's interface?

And Bullpup AKs do exist....in both real steal and airsoft.....

In airsoft however, a bullpup AK has to be custom made.

It's so annoying that everyone gets m4's these days, i know you can custom upgrade them and everything, but there are so many guns out that people can buy, M4's are so over rated, and there not even design for CQB, they are design for field and distance combat where they preform well.

Then why do they make CQB length M4s?

I believe that Smokey did make kit for it.
UNC also made complete guns before.

I stand corrected in that case, but I have never seen any other but custom made.
