Customer has a gun that he needs at 350 or below, I'm putting in an m150 to replace his m100, I short stroked 4 teeth. his gun shoots at 310 w/ the m100. After short stroking 4 teeth (roughly 80 fps) how many spring coils should I cut

You should never cut coils. EVER.

May I ask why you are putting in an M150?

If it shoots 310 with the M100, stretch it out and that should prevent PME without cutting the coils.

Why not do it properly; order an M120 or M130 spring and short stroke a non-ridiculous amount of teeth? No point going higher than M130, unless it's a DSG setup, with an M130 you can do at least 50 rps with an SSG setup.
