The M14 have more range. It's more of a field gun. You could sell the CM. And buy the M14, add scope, rails, other useless cool things. Or open it (M14) up and rhop it and make it long range. For CQB you really couldn't do much other than buy another gun like a shotgun or keep the CM.

No problem. Just think about its length.

The Cyma M14 fails Aethstetically. The external metal is all pot metal. The plastic is all ABS and is prone to cracking.

The charging handle has a great possibility of breaking off along with the bolt catch. The selector switch is also likely to fall off.

Also, a newbie does not simply upgrade a TM spec M14. The disassembly is very complex and pretty much requires the complete takedown of the rifle.

Keep your CM, don't get the M14.

What's wrong with your current gun? Why can't you upgrade it?

Thats why you upgrade it. Get a new front set, stock, Madbull rails and it would look so good.

Well the hop up is decent. Just need:
    -m120 spring
    -lonex HT or shs HT
    -16:1 gearset
    - seal compression
    -DIY mods(AOE)
-Madbull blue bucking or rhop it
    -TBB barrel(6.03)
And new metal tooth piston.(SHS, ARMY,lonex)
    - overhaul pretty much.

I personally love my CYMA M14. Some small parts do fall off easily, especially the bolt catch, but just be careful about your gun and you'll be fine. It has great stock performance, but the gearbox is stuffed with nasty green grease that you probably should clean out.

Instead of upgrading it, I would tune it up first. So that would mean doing angle of engagement correction, shimming, swiss cheesing the piston, regreasing, and installing deans connectors. Tuning it up after about 4k rounds is a good idea.

After you tune it up, come back to talk about what parts you should get for upgrading the gun. I really wouldn't worry about upgrading until you go through 10,000 more rounds.

Make sure to look up Youtube videos on how to do these modifications as well as how to disassemble your Combat Machine. You don't want to open a gearbox without knowing what you're doing.

Also the CYMA m14 is full metal so it is going to be HEAVY and it depends if u want a heavy gun or bot

What? The CYMA M14 is not "full metal". The lower receiver is made of plastic, as well as a few other parts.

EDIT: I won't argue that it might be heavy, though.
