I have never owned a DBoy AEG, and wanted to get some feedback from some of you guys. I was looking at purchasing a backup and found a full metal DBoys M4 CQB-R for a reasonable price (about half the $329 retail price), but I don't want to buy a lemon.

I don't think that's the cut all retail, but my friend used that rifle for 5 years before he had some problems with the fire selector and trigger and then it fell apart. It lasted a long time and performed well. It has solid externals that could be used for the future, my friend put in a G&P gearbox and motor. Although the externals were scratched and a little beat up they worked well. I would recommend this gun to anyone who needs a low budget AEG that will last.

I see now, if you want all the stuff that comes with it, go for it. I would probably stick with just the gun, but it's your choice.
