Hi, I purchased a cybergun CO2 powered desert eagle from Evike and instantly fell in love. I am a fan of Israeli steal as is and to add this to my collection is a dream come true!

But I'm having an issue with disassembling the weapon for maintenance and cleaning. My understanding is that it is supposed to disassemble like a real one yet I can't get the slide off of the weapon. I can remove the barrel but anything after that is a no go. I'm afraid to force it because the lower half is a polymer that feels just a bit on the cheap side. I can't find any articles that deal with this specific problem, maybe someone here can help?

Try that. I’m a big IDF + Israeli weapon fan as well.

That didn't work. The slide is stuck in place, I can't remove it. I'm afraid to apply force to it and break the frame, internals, or the slide as I am unfamiliar with the tolerances of the handgun.
