Dry firing gas guns

    S it bad to dry fire a gas gun with no gas, just pulling the trigger with the hammer back.

    No it is not but it is a waist of gas to do so

    He asked without gas. There is no problem that I know of doing this.

    Does it wear down the sear or any of the trigger mechanisms.

    Nothing more then standard firing, minus barrel assembly wear. I would recommend it over purging your magazine to clear your gas.
