Where can I buy a dual sector gear for my cxp I need all the info I can get.
If you don't even know where to buy a dsg, chances are you won't be able to install it.
Go do more research.
Dude looking it up would be faster than making a thread for it.
If you need to ask where to buy a DSG then you don't have the experience to build one.
It's more or less I need information on them as in are they proprietary for certain guns (ics cxp). I was planning on having my airsoft shop put it in.
DSG's are built like DMR's but with a lightened piston (swiss cheesed).
the one i linked is if you want 80rps. the normal ratio DSG is around 50rps.
remember that these are maintenance builds. frequent piston o-ring cleaning/re-lubing is necessary or it will dry up and seize.
I read the bio on those gears and my one last question is,would it reduce my fps?
Yes because you are not completely compressing the spring which isn't allowing the cylinder to fill completely.
300-350 are average fps.
400 will require a very strong gearbox.
i've read about 500 fps DSG, but i wouldn't think it will be reliable.
m150 without spacer will get you around 300fps
m150 with spacer, around 340fps
m170 without spacer, around 350fps
m170 with spacer, around 375-380fps
spacer = spring guide spacer
not all springs with the same rating will have the same fps
i prefer using spacers and chopping down springs for easier spring installation
Oh yes. Spring spacer for the win -___- need to lathe my own soon.
And yes the DSG gears will reduce your fps by about 40-50% lol. Depending on spring and if spring spacer is used
