I'm getting a new m14 and I'm wondering which one I should get. Full length mock wood versions.
Links would be much appreciated, but I can confidently say get CYMA. It will be less expensive and the E1 is a CYMA with a few modifications.
Here are some links and what more mods is there to it. http://torontoairsoft.3dcartstores.com/CYMA-M14-Full-Length--Mock-Wood_p_2416.html http://torontoairsoft.3dcartstores.com/Echo1-M14-in-Mock-Wood_p_1445.html
They appear to be basically the same gun. The E1 probably just comes with a warranty.
Typically, E1's rebrands include a lower powered spring. But I don't think that is the case here.
In the US, the price difference is $60 - $70. But your links only show a $20 price difference. I am pretty sure they are the same gun, but I would wait for someone else to confirm this.
If you're not gonna upgrade or open the gearbox Echo
If you plan on upgrading in the next 6-8 months [Original brand] aka CYMA
In this case, the M14 is one of CYMA's most solid guns, and arguably one of the best M14 brands in this price range. I'd save the money and get CYMA even if you don't plan on upgrading.
Echo-1 rebrands the Cyma M14.
Every Echo-1 M14 gearbox I've worked on is marked CM-032, which is the Cyma model number for their M14.
