Hi all im new to the forum but have been building my own guns for a bit. I have 3 elite force m4s and just recently picked up a cfr and began messing with it. Ive installed the following to the gearbox.

Raptor airsoft piston (was very heavy switched to shs lightweight)
Raptor airsoft 13:1s (zci i think) these broke.
    (Switched to shs dsg)
    Lonex silent piston head
    16 gauge wire
    Warfet mosfet.

Just takeing the time to right this up for anyone interested in there guns since i love them because of there price and that they're easy to work on.

Anyway a few things to look at upgradeing in the gearbox

    Tappet plate (kinda flimsy)
Piston (does not sit straight in the gearbox and wiggles alot in the slides)
Nozzle and cylinder head (basically zero compression here)
    Piston head (is extremely heavy)
And finally add a mosfet to protect your microswitch.

EDIT: UPGRADE BUSHING THEY ARE TRASH. 2K rounds thru dsg resulted in a bushing that looked like a pencil down a hallway.

Lol i know these things this was to help someone not asking for help. And i have a shs high speed and high torque. Im leaning towards high speed should be around 35 rps witb a m115 spring

Yeah, I realized that once it was too late...
You might hit PME on an m115.

I'd guess so at 35 rps, but with the high torque you might be fine.

I saw a setup with 13 to 1s and the shs high speed shooting 34 on a 7.4 he said it worked with a 11.1. He also had a m110. So i figured with the m115 id be solid

Hmm. I was told an m120 is needed above 30 rps, but I don't know as much on the subject as some.

Going with the high torque motor and m120 spring to play it safe. Im shooting for 35 rps. Mosfet comes in a few days. I should probably add a guarder tapet and delay chip while its open.

My Guarder tappet is fine after several thousand cycles. The SHS is cheaper though.

I have one in another gun ive never heard of one breaking. Not sure about the shs one tho it is like half the price. Do you have any delay chip experience? Ive never NOT used one so idk if its necessary. I know people who say theyve never used them

I don't have any experience over 25 rps, and I've never not used a delayer. In some cases they can cause inconsistent fps in full auto since the nozzle doesn't seal to the bucking for as long. You could try with and without one to see what happens at that ROF.
