    Hello everyone,

I was talking to my Mum about all of the websites for Air-softing and she thought it was a good idea after my Rugby team folded because of money issues. Then the next morning I started talking to her about it again and she decided I was not aloud to purchase any Airsoft guns, bb's or anything because she thinks its dangerous. Is it really that dangerous or is my Mum just being over
protective? My Dad says that he is going to persuade her to let me do it because my Dad wants to try it out too.

Do a search, This kind of thread comes up frequently.

As long as everyone you are playing with is wearing full seal goggles I don't see it being that dangerous.
Face protection is highly recomended as well.

IMO Rugby is more dangerous than airsoft by a long shot.

Coming from playing rugby, airsoft isn't dangerous at all.

Get good face protection. Get a full face mask or some nice glasses or goggles and a lower face mask or a mouthguard. All work well.

It's really not that dangerous is you take proper safety precautions such as full seal eye protection. This is something you should discuss with your family more if you really want to play.
