Hopefully at some point over the holiday break some friends and I will go airsoft a ITG for the day. I need a gas pistol that preforms well in cold weather, cause this time of year it gets pretty chilly up here in Idaho. I've heard KWA pistols aren't to badly affected by the cold, can anyone back this up?

Any Green Gas, Duster gas or Red gas gun will be affected a lot by cold weather. Unless the gun is HPA rigged or you use CO2, there is nothing else.

Thanks. I guess I'll stick with my old Co2 1911 in that case.

Yeah, I've been researching this too.
People say the NS2 system lasts approximately 3-5 mags with green gas (they say propane doesn't work) in 32 F.

But I think CO2 isn't affected by the cold that much, partly because it's always cold anyway...

What's red gas and duster gas? Never heard of them.

Red gas is supposedly a stronger form of green gas but everyone that has tested it says it's a minimal difference, duster gas, or hfc 134a is basicly computer gas and gives less power than green gas and is what many guns parts are made for.
