Hi, all!! I was just wondering if there were any good GG-powered sniper rifles and if anyone had experience with any of them. I don't want a CO2 gun (if they exist) but because of my situation (location) I am hesitant to get into an AEG. I must mention that I do TARGET SHOOTING ONLY, and thus my interest in "sniper-type" rifles, being used ONLY for stationary target shooting. . Any info on, experience with, or reviews one has read about, gas-powered sniper-rifles would be appreciated. ☮

Not really made in volume due to consistency issues with Gas.

KJM M700 is the only one I know of that is produced consistently each yeah in very low numbers.

How about a pellet gun?
Is that an option where you are?
You'll have more accuracy and with the worse pellet gun over the best pellet gun, and usually things tend to be more durable. If you're after realism then airsoft is it, but for just target stuff then I'd say that a $300 PCP package or a $200 springer would be awesome, and could even be used for pesting.

Guges came up with a good example, and I'll throw in a couple of others. The King Arms MDT LSS,and MDT TAC21.These two,and the KJW use the Tanaka system, which is basically the gold standard for gas powered bolt actions. The KJW is essentially a clone of the Tanaka M700 with the exception of having a knock off of the Creation chamber making it VSR inner barrel compatible. Both King Arms rifles are also, but have the original Tanaka pre ban PCS bolt ad standard. The PCS bolt (Power Control System)is a bolt that allows the shooter, via a dial on the bottom side of the bolt,to adjust the rifles power by regulating the amount of gas going through the bolts nozzle. In addition, the King Arms comes standard with long magazines that hold more gas than Tanaka/KJW ,better made, and the same price or cheaper. The overall build quality of the King Arms rifles are also better.Another option that just occurred to me is the PPS KAR98K.Once again this is a clone of a Tanaka, and also are built preupgraded like the other two offerings to accept VSR cut barrels right out of the box

Silicone Sword, no sadly that is not only NOT an option, but I have (unless it's been stolen) a Hatsan 125 that is STILL languishing on a shelf at the Bangkok Customs office, since I didn't do all the correct paperwork and grease the right palms. They're extremely difficult to get here, almost the same as real firearms.
Ironically, I have a clipping of the Thai police seizing a crap-ton of air-rifles that were being sold 'illegally', meaning the correct paperwork was not being done and correct palms greased. In the photo one can CLEARLY see the GAMO logo and some others on the boxes, yet the article made it sound like they were real-steel, and that an armed insurrection had been averted by their diligence.

Arms is a loose term...and technically they are not wrong.

At one point heavy chunks of wood and pointy sticks were used as "arms".
