Retail on those guns is around $200 new.

The only option within your price range is going to be used in the classifieds or off some boneyard.
    And likely broken or leaking.

That's about the right price range for a tri shot.

I've had a few and they're all pretty decent.

Just make sure you snag some extra shells.

I went a bit overboard with mine...

    Are they accurate?

They aren't terribly inaccurate, some of them have three separate barrels. Though I would consider investing more than $50 into any gun, in the long run it would be worth the extra starting costs.

What do you mean by 3 barrels?
And yeah, Im only investing $50 at first to try shotguns. I have not had an intrest in them until now, if I like them ill invest more when I get a new one.

Each bb is chambered into it's own separate barrel (total being 3) that's how you get the tri shot. The trishots are a ton of fun as long as you know what to expect from them. Grab a couple extra shells and it's a great CQB gun, I'd say effective range is around 60-70ft which isn't too shabby with .2's and a bit farther for max range.

I know .12s suck, but would they work fine in a shotgun? or if i get one should I only use .20s?

I use nothing less than .25's in my shotgun. It's just sooo much more accurate.

It's a clip on that came with a DE single shot.
Been looking for another one for a while now.
All I can find now are the cheap nylon Velcro ones.
