I think the main reason I like them is because I love the military simulation aspect of airsoft, specifically the Russian and American facets. So I love the basic, universal quality of ARs and AKs.

But I did recently pick up a G36 and a Scar, as well as a Dragunov and an M14. So they're expanding, but slowly.

Loving the wood and steel in your builds though! ❤

To each their own I suppose.I always found milsim to be a bit constraining.Thats me though.A G36 is a start,I consider a scar kinda an AR variant, though I dig the bigger MK17's.I got a bit of everything, bit my primary focus is HK guns as I collect them.I do have a couple of Drags, but havent done anything with them.I will though trust me.My primary focus is customs. When I say this I mean one off true customs with little seen parts or parts I made myself.Stay tuned,I have some stuff coming up you just might find interesting

I tried both,a P* setup and tapping the mag on a gbb.with the Fusion engine setup you are chained to the gun,and have only a finite amount of shots. Then there is the issue of having to have the tank filled.Tapped gbb is same as above ontop of having mag changes made into a procedure.Of any tapped setup doing so to a bolt action is the most palitible IMO.Bolty gas consumption is miniscule in comparison to a semi or select fire gun,so smaller tanks,or even refillable CO2 caps are an option to keep everything less bulky and annoying.Easier to get CO2 tanks refilled around here anyway. No thanks.Better IMO to make any of your guns as consistent as possible

Ya, I’m mot a fan of the tether either. I use mounted tank stocks and sometimes co2 bulbs. I moved from gbbr to HPA, so I didn’t miss high shot counts.

But mainly my comment was an inside joke between outlaw and me.

I thought he made the comment, lol.Didnt look at the name.I dont use those setups either except on bolt action rifles, and only because I had to on one,and the other the rig came with it.I have an M200 I converted from being a springer to gas.I did this because after hunting with boltys, the pull on springers isnt even good enough to be considered terrible. After the conversion I had to regulate it to make it fieldable. In the case of that rifle it was justifiable for a few reasons the main one being the magazine capacity.Magazine on that one holds 100 rds,and the magazine required no tapping. In the case of the rig for my Tanaka rifles I tried it and found it lame, esspecially with short mags which were the only tapped ones I had.I have thought about getting an Air Stock for my fusion engine build, but I just havent gotten around to doing it.Maybe if I bent more effort to getting my own compressor.Gotts do more reading about those first.

I have a GBB AW338 that I don’t use enough. Too big to run with and I’m too old to….BUt, the idea of an airstock on the Fusion, I’ll just warn you to pick up extra bottles. Especially when you use full auto, it will empty quickly. I’ve been running a Kythera on a air stock for a couple of years now In an SR25 I built. I do get a full day out of a bottle usually, and carry a couple of extras. I am in the process now of dialing in the f2 in a 415a5, and it does not run as efficient as the kythera, at least not yet. Love this 417 too. You have an eye my friend.

And thats exactly why I dismissed the idea of the airstock for it.Limited shot count. Then again I set mine up as a sniper rifle and only used semi on it anyway. Before I do anything like that I'll be making my own upper for it
