The famas is not that good at all. Go for a echo one st6. They go for 195.00. But if you want a real reliable gun(like all three of mine) dont buy anything under 280. But for a beginner or someone on a budget, the st6 has great and reliable performance.

Dont buy under 280 $ ! ! ! What kind of bullshit is that there very reliable guns for a few bucks i had a dboy that worked great for years it still does . A cyma ak is even better . In my opinion I have 2 ak74u and akm .

You do not need to purchase over $280. $120 is just fine if you're a beginner

Especially if you're a beginner. I got my CM048 (AK74) half off during christmas for $175, and it works perfectly. AirsoftMegastore has a lot of stuff on sale, I don't know if it still does, but it might.

Personally, I would recommend the JG G36c, I ordered mine as my first AEG about a year ago and it still runs great.. Never had a problem with it, except for the stock battery that I switched for a 9.6v. A red dot also works well with it :) Pretty soon ill add a new barrel and do some accuracy upgrades. Out of the box it shot 390-400 FPS, which is too high for the fields I go to.. But after awhile it lowered to 340-350 FPS. Theres some on amazon for around $120

The CYMA M14 is a great beginner gun. It's arguably the best budget M14 on the market. If you're trying to save a buck but still get great performance in an M14, CYMA is what you want.
Upgrade parts are easy to find. It's overall a great gun.

    Other choices would by...
Most any AK made by CYMA
    JG G36c (MK36)
    JG or DBoys S-System
    JG Sig 552
